Many know me as the former Copy Chief and music editor at alternative newspaper, the Portland Mercury, where I worked until COVID-19 took hold of the US. Now a full-time freelancer, I continue contributing heavily to the paper’s arts, film, food & drink and cannabis sections, and write weekly about Portland’s music scene in Hear In Portland. (I also formerly wrote the hip-hop column, Sneaker Wave, for the Mercury).
